Professor Barbara Fister of Gustavus Adolphus College, a recognized expert on information literacy issues, led a forum on information literacy on March 2, 2007. Delivering Management Undergraduate Education using a Blended Learning Format: A Guide to Implementation
Laurel V. Newman, Associate Professor in the College of Business and Management at UIS, presented this paper at the Midwest Academy of Management Annual Conference. The paper describes a proposal to offer the management degree program offered by a small Midwestern public university at an off-site location in a blended learning format. The motives for adopting a blended approach are discussed and a plan for implementation in alignment with good pedagogical practice is provided.
